Effectively a bigger and more powerful version of Martin Audio's superb new XD12, the XD 15 features the same rugged, multi-angle external design and screwless removable grill, which allows you to easily change the angle of the 1.4" exit compression driver mounted on a user-rotatable 80 degrees x 50 degrees constant directivity horn.

A two-way (passive or bi-amped) speaker, LF is taken care of with a 15" driver, which has a lightweight 4" voice coil and flux demodulation rings to reduce distortion at high excursions. As with the XD12, the speaker can be used without a controller but will benefit from the DX1.5 or DX2's EQ and limiter functions when used in bi-amp mode or with a subwoofer. A yoke is available for the XD15, which, together with the integrated brackets, allows it to be attached just about anywhere. A fantastic piece of kit, suitable for any touring or fixed theatre-style application, the XD15 is tough, flexible, and knocks out the dBs with clarity and accuracy.

Where can I get instructions, manuals and videos from?

All the available manuals for our products can be found on the Full Kit List page which can be accessed from the top menu.

Browse to the product that you require the manual for. Underneath you will find three icons. One for the manual, one for the manufacturers product page and the last for a video of the product. Simply click on the appropriate icon.

You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to view the manuals.

Can you operate the equipment for me?

We are more than happy to set up the equipment for you. If you just want it connected we can provide this service or should you need a DJ or sound engineer for the entire event then we can assist with this.

We are able to provide service from a DJ all the way up to full production to a festival.

Can you set up or take down the equipment for me?

All the service are flexible and will be made to fit around your needs. Prices for a sound engineer start from as little as £20 per hour with deals for set periods of time.

Where can I get insurance from?

If you do not have insurance to cover your event then there are many organisations that can assist you with one off policies.

One such company is Events Insurance. Events Insurance are not affiliated with London Speaker Hire and we are providing this as a helpful link only.

When requesting insurance please check your quote for the total equipment cover required.

Do I need insurance?

As part of our terms and conditions of hire you need to make sure that you have an insurance policy that covers you for the full replacement cost of equipment as per our Terms and Conditions.

Your quote will provide you with the total amount this comes to.

How do I pay by bank transfer?

If you would like to pay by bank transfer then please use the bank details listed on your quote.

It’s imperative that you use the quote number as your payment reference as there will be a delay in your booking confirmation if we do not have this.

Can I pay by cash or cheque?

Unfortunately we are unable to accept cheques or cash payments.

How can I pay for my hire?

To make it as easy as possible for you to pay, you can use our secure online payment system (which can be found here) any time of the day or night. This system allows you to pay by debit or credit card. Our secure payment processing partner is Square Payments.

What ID do I need for a business hire?

For corporate hires please speak to one of our team on 020 3333 4444 who will be happy to run through the requirements.

What ID do I need for a personal hire?

When hiring from London Speaker Hire you will need to provide three forms of identification.

The first ID must be a UK passport which will be held for the duration of the hire. The other two forms of ID needs to be a utility bill or bank statement with your name and address on it. Unfortunately we are unable to accept mobile phone bills.

These ID’s will be returned to you upon the return of the equipment.

When hiring equipment we will take a copy of your credit or debit card for authorisation (it will need to be in the same name as your identification). No money will be charged to it but a check will be run to make sure it is a valid card.

How do I make a booking?

Making a booking is a very simple process:

1) Decide which kit and services you require. If you are not sure give us a call on 020 3333 4444 or use this form to contact us and we will give you the best advice.

2) Complete the hire form which can be found here. To help us give you the best quote possible please make sure you include as much information as possible.

3) Sit back and relax! One of our friendly team will get back to you with a quote via e-mail. All you need to do is read through the quote and confirm that the information is correct and as required.

4) As soon as you have made the deposit payment to confirm you booking we will pop you over an e-mail to let you know the kit and services are reserved ready for you.
