London Speaker Hire are proud to own the first ever Martin Audio MLA mini ever sold. Our clients were so impressed by the system that we purchased a second one within a few months.
Traditionally the jump from a point source to a line array was only viable when the event was of a substantial size.
Martin Audio filled the gap by taking the ground breaking technology of their full size MLA and MLA Compact systems and scaled it down to a portable and easy to use MLA Mini.
When we mention it’s versatile we don’t say it likely. This system will fit in a Ford Caddy sized van so easy for transport and can be ground stacked, pole mounted or flown.
The beauty of this solution is that the Martin Audio MSX subwoofer contains the “magic” by handling the amplification and EQ. This means there’s not complicated and messy cabling or additional racks of amps and EQ. It’s all nealy contained in the subwoofer.
Each stack is powered by a single Neutrik Powercon True1 top cable so again only two 13amp sockets required for a single system.

Here at London Speaker Hire we are proud to introduce Martin Audio’s new MLA Mini ultra compact multi-cellular loudspeaker array. We are the first company in the UK to stock this speaker on a hire basis. The MLA Mini uses the same technology as other MLA ranges, however the big advantage with the MLA Mini is the fact that it has a number of set up options. For example, in smaller venues the use of flown line array is impractical because they are so large, whereas the MLA Mini can be floor stacked as opposed to hanging.
The multi-award winning MLA Mini delivers a consistent sound across the audience, putting an end to trial and error tuning sessions and reducing sound spill. After we purchased four MLA Mini enclosures and a MSX mini sub power plant we debuted this system at Le Book (a creative trade show at London’s County Hall). Two bands performed in front of an audience of 500, with everyone in attendance enjoying the show. Their experience was enhanced by the flawless sound from the speakers.
