Effectively a bigger and more powerful version of Martin Audio’s superb new XD12, the XD 15 features the same rugged, multi-angle external design and screwless removable grill, which allows you to easily change the angle of the 1.4” exit compression driver mounted on a user-rotatable 80 degrees x 50 degrees constant directivity horn. A two way (passive or bi-amped) speaker, LF is taken care of with a 15” driver which has a lightweight 4” voice coil and flux demodulation rings to reduce distortion at high excursions. As with the XD12, the speaker can be used without a controller, but will benefit from the DX1.5 or DX2's EQ and limiter functions when used in bi-amp mode or with a subwoofer. A yoke is available for the XD15 which together with the integrated brackets allows it to be attached just about anywhere. A fantastic piece of kit, suitable for any touring or fixed theatre style application, the XD15 is tough, flexible, and knocks out the dBs with clarity and accuracy.
