A high output mic optimised for low frequency response (20Hz to 10kHz), the Shure Beta 52a has been tailored to pick up kick drums, although it is also very good for micing up bass instruments. Maintaining high performance levels at even extremely high sound pressure levels, we provide a small mic stand that will let you put this mic right inside the kick drum (or close-miced to its rear skin) to fully capture the richness of its sound.
