Pioneer Launch New Nexus CDJ and Mixer

Posted on: Jan 14, 2016

Industry leaders Pioneer are set to release two new additions to their flagship Nexus line, the CDJ-2000 NSX2, and the DJM-900 NSX2.

The Nexus line is an industry standard and can be found in clubs around the globe, so we’re really excited to get these new bits of kit in stock and see what they can do.

We’ll have both in stock next month in our CDJ hire range.

CDJ-2000 NSX2

The latest CDJ has upped its sound quality, now coming with a 96 kHz/24-bit soundcard and a 32-bit D/A converter.

The user interface is also improved with a QWERTY keyboard on the touchscreen for easier navigation and the Hot Cue function has been expanded to allow two sets of four custom cue points.

Audiophiles will also be glad to know that both FLAC and ALAC file formats will also be supported on the new CDJ.

DJM-900 NSX2

As for the new DJM mixer, it’s been fitted out with the same 96kHz soundcard with a 64-bit mixing processor for a much fuller sound.

The EQ can now be adjusted to be reduced or completely isolated, as can the channel faders curve.

It also has 14 brand new beat FX tools, including ping-pong delay and revamped reverb.

Other improvements include a new display, gold plated connections and extra USB and phono inputs to make switchovers a lot easier.

You can check out Pioneer’s promotional videos for both products below or head to their website for more detailed specs:
